Architecture

Conceived by Zaha Hadid, one of the defining figures of contemporary architecture, the Royal Theatre of Rabat stands as an iconic masterpiece where bold design meets architectural elegance, harmoniously integrated with the landscape of the Bouregreg Valley and reflecting the cultural radiance of Morocco’s capital.

I am delighted to be designing the Grand Theatre of Rabat. Morocco’s unique musical traditions and rich cultural history in the performing arts are renowned worldwide. I am honored to contribute to the cultural development of the nation’s capital.

Inside the building, the spaces offer an immersive experience where materials, volumes, and the interplay of light elevate the artistic emotion and enhance the stage. More than a performance venue, the Royal Theatre of Rabat stands as a true gathering place where contemporary creation, cultural heritage, and artistic excellence converge.
